About us

Message from our CEO and Founder

As a pulmonologist, critical care physician, and physician scientist, I founded Aqualung Therapeutics to advance new treatments for serious inflammatory and fibrotic diseases, where patient need remains high and effective therapies are still limited.

Aqualung is built on translational research identifying eNAMPT as a key driver of uncontrolled inflammation and fibrosis, Aqualung’s eNamptor™ platform includes ALT 100, a humanized monoclonal antibody designed to neutralize eNAMPT, along with complementary biomarker tools to support precision guided treatment.

As Aqualung advances toward clinical development, the company remains focused on rigorous science, disciplined execution, and creating meaningful value for patients, partners, and investors.
